The Elia is an event venue in Wilmington, NC that offers a unique and creative space for all your event needs. We love to host corporate events, networking events, trainings and meetings, intimate conferences, holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, and many more celebrations. The venue is located in the heart of Downtown Wilmington and is within walking distance of hotels, shopping, restaurants and nightlife options.

Our stunning 7,000 square feet of indoor event space can accommodate up to 175 guests for a seated dinner or up to 250 for a cocktail style event.

We welcome new vendors to the venue and love creating new relationships. Choosing your vendor team is a big decision and we always encourage hiring professionals in the industry. We do require your vendors to provide a certificate of insurance that we keep on file.
No, we do not allow outside alcohol, but we do offer a few different bar package options:

To ensure all weddings and events are up to our standards and provide the best guest experience, all clients must choose a caterer off our exclusive catering list. Our list of caterers provide a variety of dinner styles, can cater to your budget and provide full service catering + wait staff.
There are a variety of Hotels located within walking distance from The Elia. Here are some of our favorites, The Hotel Ballast, The Hive, Courtyard By Marriott Downtown, The Embassy Suites, or Hampton Inn Wilmington Downtown.
There is ample street parking around the venue - there are two large parking lots a block away:
